Devoted followers of the pop star are demanding that a man who leaped a fence and seized the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A viral clip depicts the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing camera operators and lunging at Grande while the performers walked down a event pathway surrounded by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "released after being detained", though court documents indicated that he was set to attend court on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Record of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram feed features clips of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney concert in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last December.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," stated an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Express Concern Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Numerous supporters blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a devastating incident at the end of her 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented another response on Instagram.

Several attendees also criticised event staff at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some called for digital services to remove Mr Wen's content.

Response and Event Details

In clips spreading on the internet, Grande seemed surprised when she was approached by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

The motion picture, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a two-part version of the popular stage show Wicked, which centers on the unlikely friendship between two contrasting witches.

The production itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were alongside cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing motion picture of last year in the UK, and earned 10 Oscar nominations, securing several for outstanding attire and set decoration.
