In a commanding performance, the English national team wrapped up a further victory against their opponents, featuring a number of squad members producing notable displays throughout the game.

First-choice XI

The goalkeeper Was rarely tested to make before the break but then tested from an opponent's bent shot. One well-timed sliding challenge on an Albanian attacker highlighted sharp reading of the game. 6/10

The debutant Challenged against the opposition's biggest threat in their forward. Started through the middle initially but moved to the flank after a teammate was introduced. 7/10

The defender Pushed into midfield when in possession, as he has done previously. At times lacked urgency on the ball and the tactic abandoned at half-time. 6/10

The tall defender A nuisance on corners and free-kicks, per usual, perhaps is a replacement for his teammate in defense as opposed to his partner. A careless ball after the break came close to the first goal from Albania. 6

Nico O’Reilly A further composed display from the youngster following his initial appearance versus another side. A teammate failed to make the most of a clever flick behind the opposing backline. His position is firmly his at this stage. 7

Adam Wharton His maiden beginning in an England shirt. Slightly loose on the ball however his whipped set-pieces posed a danger. A useful game manager available to the coach to utilize against defensive opponents. Shown a yellow for a rash challenge. Six

The midfielder Crosses on corner kicks and free-kicks caused problems. Enjoyed freedom to move on the left but was offside when the ball arrived with a chance to score. Awarded a merited rest on the hour mark. 6/10

Jude Bellingham Played in a high role on the right while also put in the hard yards. Demonstrated glimpses of brilliance but scuffed a shot over. Withdrawn towards the end by Rogers, a fellow player, following a yellow card. 7

The winger Had the team's top opening before halftime, his effort excellently kept out by the opposing goalkeeper. As a teammate holding position, he had to stretch the play out wide yet his deliveries from the touchline were inconsistent. Replaced late in the match. 6

Harry Kane The match-winner with his seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth finishes for his country. His first a typical poacher’s finish and the second a classy headed goal after peeling away off his defender. At 32, he continues to improve with the national team are strong contenders next summer with him leading the line. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Found it tough to influence play out wide. Had a presentable chance following a pass by Bellingham yet the keeper denied him. His replacement made much more of influence after coming on. 5
