Based on latest statistics, the count of individuals reaching 100 in the UK has doubled from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

Between 2004 and 2024, the number of male centenarians has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. Over the same years, the count of women aged 100 or over almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.

We are excited to hear from centenarians, their family or close ones, about what it has been like to bear witness to the past century’s seismic events and changes.
